TheReminderApp
Deleting your account
TheReminderApp works without an account. An account exists only if you signed in to a sync server to keep your reminders on several devices. This page says how to delete it.
Delete it yourself
In the Android app: Settings, Sync across devices, Delete my account and data. Enter your password and confirm.
On the web page of your sync server: Settings, Account, Delete my account and data.
What is deleted, immediately: your account, every device signed in to it, and all the reminders, lists, tags, notes, activities, countdowns and saved places stored for it on the server. The server overwrites deleted data rather than keeping it. The reminders already on your phone stay on your phone until you remove them or uninstall the app.
If you are the owner of a server (its first account), delete the other accounts first; the owner account can be deleted last.
If you cannot sign in
Write to contact@tabpoint.in from the address you used, with the server address and your username, or ask the person who runs your sync server to remove your account. For a server run by Tabpoint, requests are handled within 30 days; for any other server, the person who runs it decides.
What is kept
Nothing about the account is kept after deletion, except what is in the server’s own backups, which are deleted after about 15 days.
Data on your phone only
Without an account, Tabpoint holds no data about you. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in Android settings, removes what it stored on the phone. The privacy policy has the full picture.
